The Sunday Women's Heath Series 21st June 2026

Hello lovely,


When I first started the Sunday Supplement Series, the idea was simple.


Each Sunday I would talk about a different supplement, explain what it does, who it might help and whether it's something worth considering.


But over the last few months something interesting has happened.


The conversations have become much bigger than supplements.


The messages you've sent me haven't just been about magnesium, creatine or vitamin D.


They've been questions like:


💭 Why am I so tired all the time?


💭 Why am I gaining weight around my middle?


💭 Why can't I lose weight anymore?


💭 Why do I wake up at 3am?


💭 Why has my confidence disappeared?


💭 Is this menopause?


💭 What should I actually be eating?


💭 Why doesn't my body respond the way it used to?


And it made me realise that what women really need isn't another supplement recommendation.


What we need is information.


Understanding.


Education.


Real conversations about women's health and wellbeing.


So from this week onwards, the Sunday Supplement Series is evolving.


The name may stay for now (unless you can think of something better! 😊), but the content will broaden to cover the topics that matter most to women in their 40s, 50s and beyond.


Hormones.


Nutrition.


Strength training.


Sleep.


Stress.


Recovery.


Body confidence.


Healthy ageing.


Menopause.


And all the things nobody really teaches us about looking after ourselves as we get older.


So let's start with one of the questions I get asked more than any other:


"Why am I doing everything I used to do, but it's no longer working?"


The simple answer?


Because you're not the same woman you were 20 years ago.


And that's not a bad thing.


As we move through our 40s and 50s, our hormones begin to change. Oestrogen starts to decline, muscle mass naturally decreases, recovery can take longer, sleep often becomes disrupted and our bodies become more sensitive to stress.


The things that worked in our 20s and 30s often don't work in the same way anymore.


Eating less and exercising more can actually make things worse.


Skipping meals, cutting out carbohydrates and doing endless cardio may have helped you lose weight years ago, but now they can leave you feeling exhausted, hungry and frustrated.


What many women actually need is:


🥩 More protein


🏋️‍♀️ More strength training


😴 Better sleep


💧 Better hydration


🚶‍♀️ More daily movement


🧘‍♀️ Less stress


❤️ More self-compassion


It's not about trying harder.


It's about supporting your body differently.


I know this because I've experienced it myself.


For years I thought I needed more discipline.


More motivation.


A stricter plan.


What I really needed was a better understanding of what was happening inside my body.


Once I stopped fighting my body and started working with it, everything began to change.


Not overnight.


Not perfectly.


But gradually.


And that's what I hope this new version of the Sunday Supplement Series will help you do too.


To understand your body.


To feel empowered by knowledge.


And to realise that you're not failing.


Your body is simply asking for a different approach.
