Beyond The Scales......Its not just about the number!!!

“It’s not just me…”

One thing that’s REALLY surprised me since opening up about this journey…

is just how many messages I’ve had from people saying:

➡ “I thought I was the only one.”

➡ “This is EXACTLY how I feel.”

➡ “I’m doing everything right too.”

➡ “I thought I was failing.”


And interestingly…

it hasn’t just been women messaging me.

I’ve had messages from MEN too 👏

Men talking about:


➡ Low mood

➡ Anxiety

➡ Weight gain

➡ Low energy

➡ Training hard with little return

➡ Feeling frustrated in their 40s and 50s

➡ Self-sabotage cycles

➡ Feeling like their bodies have changed too


And I think that’s such an important conversation.

Because maybe this pressure to constantly “fix ourselves” is affecting ALL of us more than we realise 💭

So many people are quietly struggling behind the scenes.

Showing up.

Trying.

Starting again every Monday.

Eating less.

Training harder.

Feeling frustrated.

Blaming themselves.

When actually… maybe it’s NOT just about willpower.

Maybe there’s more going on:

✨ Hormones

✨ Stress

✨ Sleep

✨ Recovery

✨ Ageing

✨ Muscle mass

✨ Cortisol

✨ Years of dieting

✨ Mental overload

✨ Life!

And this is exactly why I wanted to start this conversation openly.

Not to make excuses.

Not to blame hormones for everything.

But to HELP people stop feeling like they’re broken 💔

Because you’re not.

Our bodies change.

Our lives change.

And maybe the answer isn’t punishing ourselves harder…

Maybe the answer is understanding ourselves better 🩷

The biggest thing I’m learning through all of this?

👉 The scales only tell a tiny part of the story.

Energy matters.

Strength matters.

Confidence matters.

Mood matters.

Health matters.

How you FEEL matters.

Thank you for all the messages, honesty and conversations.

I genuinely think more people need these conversations 🩷

This journey is definitely becoming about MORE than just weight.
