Why Strength Training Matters More Than Ever (Especially for Women 40+)

The ACSM is one of the leading authorities in health, fitness and performance worldwide.

Their guidelines are based on:

it reflects what actually works — not trends, not fads.

The Big Takeaway (This Is HUGE)

👉 “Any strength training is better than none”

👉 10–20 minutes done consistently works

Yes, really.

3. 2–3 sessions a week is enough

You don’t need to train every day.

👉 Two to three strength sessions per week

👉 Covering your full body

That’s enough to make a real difference.

4. Weekly consistency matters more than perfection

Missed a workout?

Doesn’t matter.

👉 It’s what you do across the week that counts
