If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know I’ve been doing a lot of research and reading up about “The Fat Jab.” 💉


Yesterday I had a really insightful chat with someone who’s just starting her Fat Jab journey. It was fascinating hearing about her experiences, goals, and mindset around this new chapter. She’s only 10 days in — but I’ll be supporting and guiding her every step of the way. Together, we’ll be combining the jab with strength, nutrition, and mindset strategies to make it truly effective.

💉 The “Fat Jab” Isn’t a Magic Fix — But It Can Be a Fresh Start


Mounjaro (and other GLP-1 medications like Wegovy or Ozempic) can be powerful tools to help manage appetite and support weight loss — but the jab alone won’t create long-term results.

✅ Rapid weight loss can lead to muscle loss, a slower metabolism, and low energy.

✅ Appetite changes alone won’t fix your relationship with food. It may cancel out the "food noise" but a good relationship and good healthy habits around food are vital for long term success.

One of the first things we spoke about was her dosage and how she was feeling. She is only 10 days in so is still finding her feet and is keeping a diary and logging everything!! Another important factor we discussed was the importance of lifting weights. Strength training preserves muscle, boosts metabolism, strengthens bones, and helps you feel empowered and capable.

On GLP-1 you not only lose fat but also muscle so it's extremely important to maintain your muscle weight. Muscle is vital for not only strength but also your health and metabolism

Give your body what it needs!!

Even if your appetite drops, your body still needs fuel.

Sustainable change starts in the mind.

Build routines. Journal your journey. Reframe your thoughts when challenges come up.

And most importantly — surround yourself with people who support you and lift you up. 💛
